Travel Vaccinations

The Spa Medical Practice offers a travel clinic that is run by the Practice Nurses. The clinic can offer advice and immunisations.

There is a fee for some immunisations which the nurse will discuss with you. Please complete the travel questionnaire and book your travel appointment 6 weeks before you travel.

We need to perform a risk assessment before deciding what advice will best address your travel needs and which vaccines are recommended. Ideally you should begin to organise your vaccinations 6-8 weeks before you leave the UK, particularly if you are travelling further afield.

Some travel vaccinations are provided free by the NHS, other travel vaccinations we provide as a private service to our patients and therefore do have associated charges

What you need to do

Fill in a travel questionnaire. These can be downloaded by clicking the link above, or collected from the surgery.

Return the travel questionnaire. Once this has been received a twenty minute appointment will be booked with the Practice Nurse.

The practice is NO LONGER a Yellow Fever Centre - if you need this vaccination we recommend you search online for an alternative centre. The nearest practice that offers this is Ombersley Medical Centre.
