Welcome to Spa Medical Practice

Dear Patients

We are very conscious of the fact that many of you are having to wait a lot longer than normal to speak to your GP, nurse or pharmacist.

I am sure you will appreciate we are in exceptional times at the moment. All of the team at Spa Medical Practice have continued to work extremely hard throughout the COVID 19 pandemic and, whilst we may not always have been visible, we can assure you that we have always been here.

At the moment we are experiencing an exceptionally high number of telephone calls and requests for appointments. We have always been very proud of our availability of appointments for our patients and we are aware that we are not meeting that high expectation at the moment. You, as our patients, are our priority. Please be assured that we are all doing our best and will continue to strive to meet that standard again but, in the meantime, please bear with us as we all navigate our way through these tricky times.

With many thanks,

All of the team at Spa Medical Practice

Privacy Notice for Children

Our website is intended to provide our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Your GP practice invites you to join Doctorlink, the convenient and reliable link to your NHS Services.

How can Doctorlink help patients?

Doctorlink is an online symptoms checker and advice tool which guides patients through a series of specific diagnosis questions to determine as far as possible what type of care should be required for their particular illness.  Where necessary it can direct the patient to see the right member of the practice team in the appropriate timeframe based on clinical need.

At the end of the symptom assessment patients can email the practice to request an appointment to suit their needs and/or receive advice relating to what they should do next.

Patients can register online, follow the link on the Practice website and/or download the App (IOS & Android), and/or register via the Doctorlink website

If you are a patient at our practice you can register for the NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS Services on your smartphone or tablet.

You can use the NHS App to check your symptoms and get instant advice, order prescriptions, COVID vaccine status, check appointments and view your GP medical record and more

Use NHS App online to access services on your desktop or laptop computer, through your web browser. You do not need to install anything to get started.

The NHS App can be used along side existing services such as Patient Access. For more information go to

You are able to make telephone appointments with a clinician through our improved access service. There are appointments are available of an evening and a weekend.  These can be booked direct by calling 01905 969864.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.

The practice is a member of SW Healthcare Ltd, a GP Federation of all 32 practices in South Worcestershire.
